Metaphysical Properties of stones originated from folklore that has surrounded the stones for centuries. I have always been fascinated by the information that has been passed down about gemstones and have compiled the following information for your enjoyment. Everything about gems and rocks and crystals has always been interesting to me and the part stones have played in the history of mankind has somehow shaped us into who we are today. Healers in ancient cultures used crystals to help heal themselves and others and beleived they held powers that would aid them in advancing their civilizations.
